Project scoping

A practical machine integration checklist for your next project.

Use this checklist before requesting a board sample. It covers machine interface, payment trigger, machine action, data, deployment, and what to send first.

Compatibility matrix

Machine, interface, protocol, and verification status in one table.

Use this table as a planning aid. Rows marked Pending sample are not verified on a real machine yet; we add a date only after a sample test. Model names are product families, not final SKUs.

Last reviewed: 2026-10-23. No row is marked verified until a real machine test is completed. Exact model, connector variant, and firmware profile are confirmed on the quote and sample. Do not treat this table as a compatibility guarantee.

Does QuLink work with my vending machine's MDB version?

QuLink's MDB gateway is built for MDB cashless integration; we confirm the exact MDB version (including 4.2/4.3) during the sample check. Machines on MDB 4.0 or earlier need a firmware and interface review before we mark the profile verified.

Can QuLink's pulse controller work with a 24V laundry cabinet?

Yes, the pulse controller is specified for 12V and 24V pulse inputs; we confirm pulse width, polarity, and coin-input behavior on the machine before marking the profile verified.

Why do some rows say Pending sample?

Because we only mark a row verified after a real machine test. We do not publish unverified combinations as supported. The interface family may be documented, but the machine-level action and data path still need a sample.

Are the model names in the table final SKUs?

The table shows product families; the exact model, connector variant, and firmware profile are confirmed on the quote and sample. This avoids claiming a variant that has not been checked against your machine.

Can I use this matrix for a machine not listed?

Use the closest row as a starting point, then send machine photos and wiring notes; it may match a listed family or need an OEM review. The table is a planning aid, not a compatibility guarantee.

Project fit

When to use this checklist

Buyer signals

  • You have a machine but are not sure whether it is MDB, pulse, relay, serial, or OEM.
  • You need to align payment, machine action, and data requirements.
  • You want a faster sample quote with fewer back-and-forth questions.
  • You are preparing a pilot or fleet rollout.

What to send first

  • Machine photo or existing board photo
  • Interface or wiring note if available
  • Target action after API command or payment
  • Whether telemetry or data upload is required

Not the right fit if

  • You only need a pure payment acquiring account and no machine-side control.
  • There is no physical machine action after payment, booking, or API approval.
  • The project has no machine photo, board photo, wiring note, or interface clue yet.

Integration model

A good checklist reduces integration risk

Most delays come from missing interface photos, unclear payment ownership, or undefined failure behavior. The checklist makes those decisions explicit before a sample is built.

1. Machine
type, model, photos, controller, voltage
2. Interface
MDB, pulse, relay, serial, RS485, wiring
3. Payment
provider, callback, price rule, timeout
4. Action
vend, relay, unlock, timed session
5. Data and rollout
events, firmware, enclosure, sample, pilot

Workflow

From machine interface to API-controlled result.

Download the checklist

Use the PDF to collect the machine and project details in one place.

Collect machine photos

Machine front, controller, payment module, wiring, and model label.

Fill the project snapshot

Company, country, machine model, quantity, and target sample date.

Send it to QuLink

Share the completed checklist through the RFQ form or WhatsApp.

API example

A clear server command or webhook for the machine-side action.

The exact command fields depend on machine interface, firmware profile, and whether payment or your own app triggers the action.

Project RFQ

Send a machine photo. We help identify the board, interface, and next test step.

Send the completed checklist or machine photos. We will help map the interface, board family, and sample test path.

A good first message

If you are unsure about the exact interface, send what you have. Photos often answer more than a long spec.

  • Machine type and target country
  • Machine photo, board photo, or wiring photo
  • Action after payment or API command
  • Need data upload? expected quantity?
Fastest first step
  • Send a machine photo
  • Describe the action after API or payment
  • Tell us if data upload is needed

Tip: include machine type, target action after payment/API, photo availability, and expected quantity. We usually reply within 24 hours.

Have machine or board photos? Send them on WhatsApp — we usually review photos there first.

FAQ

Questions buyers usually ask before a sample test.

Is the checklist free?

Yes. Download it and send the completed items through the RFQ form or WhatsApp.

Do I need every item?

Send what you have. Machine photos and the target action after payment are the most important starting points.

Does this replace a sample test?

No. It prepares the sample test by making interface, payment, and data requirements explicit.

Can QuLink help fill it?

Yes. Send machine photos and wiring notes; we can help identify the likely interface.
