Water dispenser control

Control a self-service water dispenser with payment, relay, and usage data.

Use QuLink when a water dispenser, water vending machine, or refill station needs QR payment, app approval, valve or pump control, flow metering, and usage upload.

Project fit

For water vending, refill stations, and dispenser retrofits

Buyer signals

  • Water vending machines and refill stations that need QR or app payment.
  • Dispensers with a valve, pump, or relay start input.
  • Coin or IC-card equipment being upgraded to QR payment.
  • Operators that need volume, session, fault, or online status data.

What to send first

  • Machine photo or existing board photo
  • Interface or wiring note if available
  • Target action after API command or payment
  • Whether telemetry or data upload is required

Not the right fit if

  • You only need a pure payment acquiring account and no machine-side control.
  • There is no physical machine action after payment, booking, or API approval.
  • The project has no machine photo, board photo, wiring note, or interface clue yet.

Integration model

Payment approval becomes a measured water session

QuLink can trigger a valve or pump, read flow-meter pulses where available, stop at the target volume or time, and report the session result to your backend.

Machine interface
valve relay, pump relay, pulse input, flow meter, dry contact, RS485 option
Trigger source
QuLink QR payment, app approval, coin/IC-card retrofit, or server command
Session control
start, target volume or time, stop, query status
Data returned
volume, session result, fault, online/offline, usage log
Project mode
dispenser retrofit, water vending rollout, OEM control board

Workflow

From machine interface to API-controlled result.

Check valve and pump wiring

Confirm relay, contactor, pump, valve, and flow-meter signals from photos and wiring notes.

Map price to volume

Define price, target liters or time, stop behavior, and what happens on timeout.

Start water session

QuLink activates the output after payment or server approval and tracks the flow.

Report result

Your backend receives volume, completion, fault, and online status.

API example

A clear server command or webhook for the machine-side action.

The exact command fields depend on machine interface, firmware profile, and whether payment or your own app triggers the action.

POST /v1/devices/WATER-07/commands

  "source": "qr_payment",
  "reference_id": "WATER-ORDER-007",

}

Project RFQ

Send a machine photo. We help identify the board, interface, and next test step.

Send dispenser photos, valve and pump wiring, flow-meter details, price rule, target payment flow, and rollout quantity.

A good first message

If you are unsure about the exact interface, send what you have. Photos often answer more than a long spec.

  • Machine type and target country
  • Machine photo, board photo, or wiring photo
  • Action after payment or API command
  • Need data upload? expected quantity?
Fastest first step
  • Send a machine photo
  • Describe the action after API or payment
  • Tell us if data upload is needed
Project checklist

Tip: include machine type, target action after payment/API, photo availability, and expected quantity. We usually reply within 24 hours.

Have machine or board photos? Send them on WhatsApp — we usually review photos there first.

FAQ

Questions buyers usually ask before a sample test.

Can QuLink control an existing water dispenser?

Often yes if the dispenser exposes a valve, pump, relay, or start input. The first step is checking the controller and wiring.

Can it measure dispensed volume?

Yes when a compatible flow meter or pulse signal is available. The project can stop at a target volume or time.

Can we keep coin or IC-card operation?

A retrofit can keep the existing machine while adding QR payment or app control, depending on the wiring.

Can it upload usage data?

Yes. Volume, session result, fault, and online status can be sent to your server.

Is installation safe for mains voltage?

QuLink provides low-voltage control and integration guidance. Final electrical and water installation must follow local safety rules and be done by qualified personnel.
